Small business in Canada produces a significant number of new jobs, and makes a tremendous contribution to the economy. Students enrolled in Entrepreneurship 30 will have the opportunity to learn about the various characteristics of entrepreneurs and will have the opportunity to create a working venture. Students will develop an appreciation for the spirit of entrepreneurship, and for the planning, marketing, and financing that go into a successful venture.

Course Description:

Wellness 10 is a course which integrates health education and physical education.  It is both a "hands on" activity class and a theory class.  The class seeks to address all four components of a student's health - physical, psychological, social and spiritual.  As we go through Wellness 10, we will cover topics like physical activity, stress management, leisure, healthy eating and relationships.  In order to run this course in an online environment, students must be prepared to document their physical activity as the course progresses.

Course Description:

The Computer Science 20 course is divided into various topics. These topics include: the hardware and operating system, computer use in society, problem solving and programming. Visual Basic Studio 2008 Express Edition will be used for programming which is the main component of this course. (free download at
http://www.microsoft.com/express/vb/Default.aspx). Students will be designing and developing structured programming, looping controls, design functions and arrays in their Visual Basic Programs. The final project will be a detailed research project related to an area of interest in Computer Science.
