Course Description: Foundations of Mathematics and Pre-Calculus 10 is a pre-requisite for both the Foundations Math and the Pre-Calculus Math in Grade 11. It introduces and/or focuses on the following concepts: factoring, rational and irrational numbers, laws of exponents, operations with polynomials, trigonometry, relations and functions, slope, linear relations, graphing, linear systems, the metric system and imperial measurements.
